Just got back from Service Weekend (my first in fact) and everything (on our end) went off without a hitch. Sure, there were a few minor ones, like Lisa getting lost on the reservation in the dark while driving in Friday night and me forgetting where I put my OA sash in my duffel bag (I borrowed my son’s for the weekend). And despite the heat and humidity (101.8 degrees heat index) we only had 3 minor cases of heat exhaustion - and I was not one of them 
We almost found the new high power range on Saturday but ran out of time because we had to respond to a stranded staff pick up call - and when we got there they had left. By then it was too late to go back and finish looking. We’re pretty sure we found the access road though - its roughly across from Marriott’s main entrance, just to the right a little ways (i.e. take a right out of Marriott’s parking lot and you’ll see the road cut on the left side).
I got to talk on the radios too, and all the ham radio folks said I did a pretty good job for an unlicensed rookie. I just need to take the course with Crew 80 this winter.
Phil’s prom weekend went well so I hear, despite the limo driving being a jerk when he dropped them off at the wrong hotel and would not come back for them. I still think Phil looks silly in the white hat though.
