Well, I attended my first Program Launch as staff last night. I staffed admin/signup last year, but this year I staffed the OA table. And the Venturing table. Good thing they were next to each other.

Talked with some of the rangers from Prince William Forrest Park, and there is an outside possibility that they will let us use their training range in the park. What a resource that would be for the Crew.

Speaking of the Crew, District presented me with the William D. Boyce New-Unit Organizer Award last night - an unexpected surprise.

As so happens, this is also my anniversary date. The choice of dates was not deliberate; we wanted to get married on April 1st. 2008 will be 19 years.

Well, I updated WP today, and gave the site a general face lift. I’ll just have to see if it strains the eyes over time.
