What am I doing? I’ve started this blog to document my time spent as an Assistant Scoutmaster. I’ve been an ASM for a little over two years now. As our Troop’s Camping MB Councilor I encourage our boys to keep some sort of camping journal - or at the very least a log of dates and locations. So, to be a good example I started keeping one too.

It started as a little database on my Palm T5. That worked great for short weekend campouts. But when we started doing week long treks, that didn’t work so well. So I started writing in a small note book, and have kept doing it ever since.

I transcribed our Lenhok’Sin summer trek into a Word doc, and the boys and parents enjoyed reading it. So I thought I’d go a step further and start my own blog. I hope you enjoy reading over my shoulder
